May 2011 - NEW! Inside Jersey Bride & Groom. We're excited about being included in the May 2011 issue of this NJ-centric magazine, published by the Star-Ledger / NJ.com. Several articles are courtesy of NJWedding.com and there is a full page article called "Images of Love: New Jersey offers a picture perfect backdrop for lasting memories" (click here to view a large version), which includes photos from New Jersey photographers and references from many professionals throughout the state on top spots for wedding and engagement photos.

Serious Weding Vendors Know: #WeddingWednesday, a weekly Twitter ritual for wedding professionals, launches on Facebook to celebrate discussions on all things weddings. I was asked by Donna Ennis, owner of Team Wedding - Top Wedding Sites, to write an article for her "Wedding Marketing Blog" and explain this popular weekly event called that wedding professionals around the world use to share wedding news, connect with others, and more via Twitter. Now a "Wedding Wednesday" page has been launched on facebook to post links and information on anything and everything weddings!

March 18, 2011 - March Brings The Brides To Red Bank For The Wedding Walk - Erik Kent was interviewed by Two River Times reporter John Burton at the Red Bank Wedding Walk, which takes place in downtown Red Bank, NJ. The annual event is hosted by the Red Bank RiverCenter to draw brides to the Molly Pitcher Inn and Oyster Point Hotel and the downtown area which features many wedding-related shops and services.
July 2, 2010 - The booth is back: Remember the old boardwalk photo booth? It's now the hot thing at weddings and parties - Erik Kent was interviewed by Press of Atlantic City reporter Martin DeAngelis about the growing trend of photobooths at weddings and special events around New Jersey. October 7, 2009 - Married - for free! - aboard N.J.'s offical tall ship in LBI - New Jersey wedding planner and writer/blogger, Rhonda Bassat-Rivera put together this article talking about "Wedding Trends" for the NewJerseyNewsroom.com site. The piece features how things are changing in the wedding industry and how New Jersey is becoming a destination wedding location, specifically Long Beach Island, among NJ other beach towns. July 31, 2009 - Old, New, Borrowed and Blue: Couple Weds on A.J. Meerwald - Thanks to Ashley Tedesco, reporter for the Beachcomber magazine in Long Beach Island, who covered "A Marry Day" on the old schooner A.J. Meerwald during the one-of-a-kind wedding ceremony of Tara Meacham and Rick Clapper, who were the first non-crew members to be married on New Jersey's official Tall Ship in Barnegat Bay.

just becoming popular as a commercial resource, but they still
couldn't find everything they wanted," Kent says. And then

are now celebrating the 10th anniversary of publishing NJWedding.com,
