History is something I find to be very special and sentimental. Chris and Caroline chose to get married on the beach in front of the Cape May Lighthouse. The Cape May Lighthouse is full of history. It was built in 1859 under the supervision of the U.S. Army engineer William F. Raynolds, was automated in 1946, and continues operation to this day. This will forever be a part of Chris & Caroline's legacy, because this very location is where they chose to tie their knot.
Continuing their party over to the Chalfonte in Cape May, which again, is full of history - Established in 1876, the historic Chalfonte Hotel is recognized as the oldest, and the original hotel located in Cape May, America's first seaside resort. I decided to incorporate the building into a couple key images, like their ring photo. You will see how their rings are resting on the mermaids, or sirens. These are actually original door knobs and I just had to photograph them.
Chris and Caroline had a lovely evening full of beauty, friendship and the love of family. Everyone came together to witness and share this beautiful joining of two very much in love individuals.
Thank you to the happy couple, for having me be a part of their special day and to be there to document all of these fantastic moments.
Cheers to the happy couple!
