In July, Chef David Burke entered a partnership with the owner of the Bernards Inn, Hampshire Destination Properties, LLC, a subsidiary of The Hampshire Companies. He has since transformed its dining area known as the gallery; the bar area and the fine dining area (now known as the main dining room, which can also be used for private events).

David Burke is one of the best known and most respected chefs in modern American cuisine, with his signature whimsical, boundlessly creative approach to food.  Chef Burke has said, The Bernards Inn is like the beacon for the town of Bernardsville,” Burke said. “We didn’t want to lose sight of what the Bernards Inn once was. We just want to continue making it great and bring it up to modern times with our style of food and design.”

The Bernard’s Inn has 20 deluxe guest rooms and suites may be reserved for the wedding party and out-of-town guests for a truly special wedding weekend in the grandest style. We have a Bridal Suite and if you have a minimum of 75 guests for your wedding, we will give you a complimentary bridal suite the night of your wedding. We also offer discounted hotel rooms for your guests.
