As a restaurant and not a typical wedding venue, Drifthouse by David Burke hosts a more sophisticated, non-traditional wedding with an emphasis on food. The private Gallery Room is the perfect size for a micro wedding. For larger events, we can reserve the entire restaurant. Ceremonies are performed in the Gallery Room in front of a beautiful stone fireplace. Cocktail receptions are hosted at the main bar or on the outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. Guests are seated in the main dining room for dinner and dancing.
Drifthouse by David Burke also specializes in bridal showers and rehearsal dinners.

We had our wedding at Drifthouse, in the middle of Tropical Storm Ophelia, and it was incredible. The entire staff was nothing short of fantastic - attending not only to us as bride and groom, but to every single guest without being overbearing, and seemed genuinely happy to be there and happy for us. The passed apps for the first hour set the tone for an incredible night -- the lobster dumplings, lobster rolls, crab cakes, mushroom risotto arancini, baby lamb chops, and tuna tartare tacos did not stop coming! Every single item was the correct temperature and so delicious. The servers were great at making sure every guest had as many helpings as they wanted. The dinner stations were equally amazing, and our guests could not stop raving about the food. Every single person left full to the brim, so impressed, and most of them cannot wait to come in for a dinner! Of course it was the best day of our lives, but we cannot imagine having had this event anywhere but here.
